You can edit the names in a header row, or add or remove the header row at any time.
Edit column names
-
Double-click the column name you want to edit. You can also right-click the column header, then choose Edit Title.
-
Enter a new name, then press Return or click elsewhere to finish editing.
Tip: Press Tab to finish the current name and edit the next column name, or press Shift-Tab to edit the previous one. If there is no next or previous column, editing ends.
Add or remove a header row
Do any of the following:
-
Remove the header row: Choose Table → Delete Header.
-
Add a header row: Choose Table → Add Header.
Note: When a table does not include a header row, Delimited displays spreadsheet-style column names (for example, A, B, C, ... Z, AA, AB, ... AZ, BA, BB). These names cannot be edited and are not saved to your CSV file.
To change the width of a column, see Insert, move, resize and remove columns.
